The Academic Booster Club encourages, recognizes, and supports academic achievement for all students at Harrison High School. We encourage parents, students, organizations, and businesses interested in improving academic achievement and interest to become active members and help further our educational goals here at Harrison.

The Academic Booster Club won the "Most Outstanding Organization Supporting Academics" award given at the H.O.Y.A. Awards Ceremony in May of 2007. This was a great honor for us! We have been in existence for 3 years and have accomplished so much! But we are forever focusing on the future, and we hope for even greater things to come for our students and teachers here at Harrison.

1. We are excited to be supporting Mr. Blake Tippens and the newly forming Academic Team. As Mr. Tippens gets the new members and teams organized, the ABC will donate enough money for him to purchase the equipment he needs and to pay for their first year's registration with the Georgia Academic Team Associateion. All of our interested students , 9-12th grade, who pay their dues, have parental permission and the time to devote to practice can join!
2. Academic Letters will soon be awarded to students who maintained a 3.85 GPA or higher for the 2007-2008 school year.
3. Please encourage your friends and neighbors to join our organization to help encourage and support our students' academic achievement!
